Hey, I’m Izy! A wife, mama, dog mom, leader and entreprenuer. I am equal parts Cuban and Puerto Rican from Washington Heights, NY. I relocated my family to Jersey in 2022 and am enjoying the suburb life (although I still have no idea what I am doing).

My path to leadership was like a rollercoaster ride after too many margaritas - yikes! When I joined the financial services industry years ago, NO ONE looked like me in leadership. Female? Minimally! Plus size? Even less. Latina? Administrative roles only. Curly hair? Nope, straight hair is professional. I was consistently overlooked for opportunities and judged. I can hear them saying “how could this 20-something Latina move into management, she doesn't have the formal education and know-how to be a manager?” Between self-doubt followed by imposter syndrome, I was challenged internally as much as I was externally. Once I broke free from all that BS, I took control of my life, my career, and who I allowed into my inner circle. Sky was the limit once I broke free from those trying to keep me down.

If everyone who doubted me could see where I am now…

I learned from an early age the value of hustling which is the soul of my internal drive and self-motivation. I’m a a dynamic leader who can share a strong vision for the future and lead the strategy to transform any business. I have a passion for thinking creatively around processes and the implementation of systems and technology to scale. I have a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Manhattan College. I have been part of leading the future of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging in the workplace which has been a career highlight.
